1. What materials are recommended for marine/chemical environments?
A4-80 (316 stainless steel) butterfly bolts are industry-standard for outstanding corrosion resistance, suitable for marine, offshore, and chemical processing–refer to ASTM A276, ISO 3506 for molecular details.
2. How do you specify the correct dimension for safe installation?
Follow substrate thickness and anchor expansion specs. For example, a 12mm drywall typically uses an M6x60 butterfly anchor screw. Always refer to the manufacturer’s load chart.
3. Are your bolts compliant to international standards?
All our butterfly bolts are produced under ISO 9001-certified systems and meet ISO 898-2, ISO 3506, DIN 315, or ANSI B18.22 as per order. Custom orders can include CE, RoHS, FDA (for hygienic/medical use).
4. What is the typical pull-out resistance?
Depending on size/material: M8 stainless steel butterfly bolts average 3000–3900N in concrete; zinc alloy variants, approx. 1800–2500N. See our pull-out test chart above.
5. What are the recommended installation standards?
For anchors, follow manufacturer’s torque values, and ASTM E488 or EN 1992-4 for on-site testing. We provide detailed installation manuals with each order.
6. Can the same bolt be reused after removal?
No. Reuse is not recommended—expansion arms may not revert fully, risking performance and safety as per ISO 898-2 guidelines.
7. What warranty and quality assurance is provided?
Standard: 24-month defect warranty on all butterfly bolts; up to 5 years for certified projects. 100% lot traceability, free replacement for any validated defect.
